As per the Mercer’s Quality of Living (India) Rankings – 2019 released on Wednesday, Hyderabad has been ranked the best city to live in India for the fifth consecutive year. Hyderabad shared 143rd rank with Pune, in the quality of living ranking announced globally.

It must be noted that the Mercers survey annually analyses the living standards of cities, multinational companies and other organisations compensating their



staff on international standards. Hyderabad and Pune are followed by Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi which bagged 149th rank, 154th and 162nd rank respectively.

Vienna, capital of Austria, ranked the top position consecutively for the 10th time in the quality of living. Of the 231 cities across the world ranked by the Mercer in its 21st edition of the report, seven are from India.
