The city has seen a steady rise in the mercury levels in the last few days. However, on Tuesday, Hyderabad received light showers to moderate rain towards evening at isolated places giving people much relief from the scorching sun.
Several localities, including Rajendranagar, Bahadurpura, Saroornagar and Hayathnagar received moderate rains, whereas Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Quthbullapur witnessed light showers.
As per the latest predication by the India Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad, the city will continue to witness light showers for the coming few days.
However, the temperature in city will be around 40 degree Celsius, with rain or thundershowers occuring towards evening or night.
IMD has also issued a thunderstorm warning for several districts of Telangana.
According to the latest developments, experts forecast thunderstorm accompanied with lightning, gusty winds between 30 and 40 kmph, and hailstorm very likely to occur and districts including Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Pedapalli, Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar will receive light to moderate rains for the next four days.
