Hyderabad recorded 40.4 degree Celsius temperature

The city recorded 40.4 degree Celsius on Wednesday, and the Met department said the mercury could cross 41 degree Celsius by Sunday due to absence of clear less skies.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday saying the maximum temperature will cross 41 degrees Celsius this week.Dry weather will prevail in the city this week as there are no signs of thunderstorms or rains. The minimum temperature will be



around 20-22 degree Celsius, the IMD said.

“It's only going to get warmer now and we are expecting the temperature to reach 41 degrees soon,“ said Nagaratna, an official from the weather department.“We are not expecting any more rain this week,“ she added.

Roads in the city , during afternoon, witnessed thin traffic compared to mornings and people were forced to remain indoors.
