The city recorded its coldest day in six years on Wednesday even as the met office warned road travellers to watch out over the next 4 to 5 days for haze and fog on the national highways that will greatly hamper visibility.
Hyderabad recorded 10.8 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, the coldest day in the last six years. A respite from the cold wave can be
expected after December 26.
Meanwhile, cold wave has tightened its grip on Khammam, Bhadrachalam, Adilabad, Medak, Nizamabad and Karimnagar districts.
The sudden dip in the temperature in Adilabad is being attributed to the high percentage of greenery coupled with the district’s elevated topography.
