After days of scorching heat, the day time temperature in the city dipped a little on Thursday. An average maximum temperature of 33.5 degree Celsius was recorded in the city, which is about one degree less than normal. Secunderabad recorded the highest maximum temperature of 34.2 degree Celsius.

According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the day time temperatures might dip by one or two degrees on Friday and Saturday. The maximum temperature on these days is expected to range around 31 degree Celsius, whereas the minimum temperature might



range from 16 degree Celsius to 20 degree Celsius. The temperature is likely to be on the higher side towards the central part of the city, including areas of Begumpet, Secunderabad, Kukatpally and Alwal.

A few parts of Telangana received light showers on Thursday. Mulakalapally in Bhadradri Kothagudem received the highest rainfall of 9 mm. Meanwhile, the day temperature in most parts of the State is gradually increasing. The highest maximum temperature recorded of 37.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Bhadradri Kothagudem, on Thursday.
