Hyderabad witnessed the temperature of 43ºC on Wednesday making it the highest in April in 43 years. The maximum temperature recorded in Telangana was of 44ºC at Ramagundam on Wednesday. As per the Met department's warning, the heat wave conditions are likely to continue till April 16 in the state.
Hyderabad recorded 42.7ºC in 2010 while the maximum record for April was 43.3ºC in 1973 but the hottest day in April in 43 years came on Wednesday



making the temperature 5ºC above normal.
Kothagudem witnessed the maximum temperature of 44ºC while Sattupalli was at 43ºC, Bhadrachalam 43ºC and Khammam was at 42ºC. A resident of Manuguru, said that the temperature at the place showed 50ºC on his digital device, on Wednesday. However, it is not an official standard figure. According to the Met department, the temperatures are expected to remain high for the coming three days.
