Hyderabad enjoyed light evening showers on Friday. The maximum temperature in the city remained 30.4 degree Celsius whereas the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 23 degree Celsius.
Many localities including Shaikpet, Serilingampally, Khairatabad, Kukatpally and Malkajgiri witnessed rainfall less than 5 mm. Madhapur recorded the highest rainfall of 5.3 mm. The city has received 405.5 mm rainfall since the start of the monsoon season, against the normal 282.8 mm – which is 43.4 per cent in excess.
The Telangana State Development Planning Society predicts
that the city will receive light to moderate showers at isolated places for the next two days. The maximum temperature in the city during the period is expected to be between 31 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be in the range 21 degree Celsius to 23 degree Celsius.
A few districts of Telangana also recorded only light to moderate rains on Friday. Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem and Rangareddy witnessed less than 10 mm rainfall. Midjil, Mahabubnagar recorded the highest rainfall of 8.5 mm.
