 As predicted by the India Meteorological Department, several areas under the GHMC limits in the capital region saw light to moderate rainfall, ranging from 0.8 mm to 14.3 mm on Monday.

The highest rainfall in the GHMC area till 4 pm was 34.8mm in Chandanagar, while Madhapur recorded 18.8mm and Gachibowli recorded 17.3mm.

While the



highest temperature recorded was 37 degree Celsius at Nagole, temperature dropped a bit because of the rainfall.

According to IMD officials, the city may see rain in the same manner till May 7, with rain or thundershowers occurring towards evening or night, with the maximum temperature to be in the 36-38 degree Celsius range.
