Hyderabad remains cool during the day, warm at nights

Compared to several other parts of the State, Hyderabad remains cooler in the day time but is found to be warmer in the nights.

Though the summer season has started to show its effect, the city temperatures remain much behind other parts of Telangana during the day time. However, in a reverse pattern, the mercury that is shooting up high in several districts during the day is also found to be dropping down sharply during the nights.

On Thursday, the hottest spots of the State were Medak (37.4 degree Celsius) followed by Adilabad (35.8 degree Celsius), Bhadrachalam (35.6 degree Celsius), Mahabubnagar (35.5 degree Celsius) and Nizamabad (35.4 degree Celisus). As



against these measurements, the mercury in Hyderabad was found to be four notches behind at 33 degree Celsius.

On Wednesday, when the highest temperature of 37.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Medak, Hyderabad weather remained comparatively more comfortable at 32.2 degree Celsius.

Interestingly, as the sun sets, the mercury is fast dropping down in the districts which had experienced higher day temperature, while the drop in Hyderabad is rather staid.

Thus, if the minimum temperature in Hyderabad on Wednesday night was 20.4 degree Celsius, the night temperatures in Adilabad and Medak were in the range of 15 degree Celsius to 16 degree Celsius.
