Hyderabadis woke up to chilly morning on Monday with minimum temperature plummeting to 12.7 degree Celsius from Sunday’s 15.9 degrees. According to weathermen, this sharp dip in the mercury level, though not unusual during the winter season, has occurred early this year as compared to the last three
winters.
Officials attributed the slump to reduced air pressure and said the temperature, that’s been witnessing a gradual dip, is likely to fall further over the next couple of days. “The temperature will continue to be low for the next two days,” said YK Reddy, in-charge director of IMD.
