With southwest monsoon active over the State, Hyderabad continued to record surplus rainfall even in September with moderate rains recorded in several parts. Though it was a drizzle that kept returning to different parts of the city in the morning, by evening the rain picked up in most places.
The weather forecast with TSDPS shows that light to moderate rain/ thunderstorms are expected at many places for the next three
days in Hyderabad with a possibility of water pooling on roads and low lying areas.
Meanwhile, a weather warning with the Meteorological Department, Hyderabad indicated that thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana. Heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in several districts, including Adilabad, Karimnagar, Mulugu, Warangal Urban and Warangal Rural.
