Hyderabad will witness moderate rainfall for the next 48 hours, according to the Indian Meteorological Department. Thunderstorms and heavy winds accompany the rainfall, said the weatherman. The officials also stated that the temperature in the city would also increase by 2-3 degrees.

Tuesday, Khammam district recorded a maximum of 42 degrees and Adilabad recorded at 38.5 degrees. Last week, the city witnessed heavy rainfall which inundated roads and caused severe traffic snarls. The city also suffered power outage due to the unseasonal rainfall.
