Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday sought to assure all that Greater Hyderabad would be transformed into the best city in India.
“If needed, harsh decisions and policy reforms would be taken up to transform Hyderabad into a heavenly abode. It will be our top priority in the next term. Entry of senior leaders like Danam Nagender into the party will only help TRS in making this city the best place to live in,” he said, while praising Danam as a leader with rich experience in city affairs.
KCR on Sunday also called upon Danam Nagender and other leaders to brush aside any differences or seniority issues.
“Work together and mingle like milk and water. Danam’s entry is not to enjoy the benefits of being in a ruling party, but to work hard and transform the city,” KCR said.
“We don’t want to give a dirty city to our future generations. Any amount of money earned by us and left behind for our children would not be of much use if they don’t have a better place to live in,” he said.
"Hyderabad is short of lung spaces. We don’t want murky water to flow into Musi. It is a big task for all of us in the next term to make Hyderabad the most beautiful city,” KCR said.
