Hyderabadi youth’s wedding card asks guests to vote for Modi

Hyderabad: An ardent fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gone the extra length to muster support for his favourite leader. He printed an appeal to vote for Modi in the next parliamentary elections on his wedding card and proclaimed that a vote to Modi is the best gift one could give for his wedding.

This 27-year-old bridegroom, Mukesh Rao Yande, of Shamshabad in Hyderabad is getting married shortly and printed this appeal on the wedding invitation cover.



Some of his family members opposed this idea, “but I convinced them … It is my way of showing endorsement for Narendra Modi’s work and asking support for his re-election”, declares Mukesh.

Mukesh, an assistant engineer in TS Genco is to be married on February 27 in Shamshabad. It remains to be seen how many of his friends and relatives attending the wedding would vote for Modi in the parliamentary polls that are scheduled to be held in April or May next.
