Ibrahimpatnam constituency is all set to witness a major transformation with developmental works worth Rs 221 crore being taken up, Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao said.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for various works on Wednesday, the Minister said the Outer Ring Road (ORR) Phase-II project to boost drinking water supply, construction of a bridge, veg and non-veg markets, a model crematorium, a mini stadium and a civil hospital were some of the works for which foundation stones were laid.
In addition to this, a municipal office in Turkayamjal along with a sub-registrar office and a Revenue Department Office in Ibrahimpatnam will be constructed.
The Minister also responded positively to a request from
Ibrahimpatnam MLA Manchi Reddy Kishan Reddy for an additional Rs 15 crore for the constituency and to set up a hospital. The Minister said he would coordinate with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and Health Minister T Harish Rao and ensure that the funds were sanctioned.
Stating that every village in Ibrahimpatnam now had a nursery, a dump yard and a dry resource centre developed as part of Palle Pragati, Rama Rao said every household was getting drinking water as well via Mission Bhagiratha. Recalling that seven villages from Telangana ranked among the top 10 under the Centre’s Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, he said exclusive schemes for farmers were being implemented only in this State.
