Hyderabad: A research project on child feeding practices, taken up by Dr. Sudhir Shankar Mane, a former student of Osmania Medical College, has been selected for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) award.
The research paper titled ‘Infant and young child feeding practices among mothers in Hyderabad’ was
selected for the ‘ICMR-CNMC STS Excellence Award’ for best research paper by an MBBS student, a press release said.
Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad happens to be the only medical college from Telangana to be included in the list of awardees among other premier institutes like AIIMS, New Delhi and JIPMER, Puducherry.
