After chilly nights, mercury in Hyderabad has been slowly soaring back to normal. However, the reprieve could be short-lived as officials at India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad forecast that night temperature could plummet again around December 29.
On Saturday, the night temperature in most localities in the city was above 15 degrees Celsius and the city’s average minimum temperature
recorded in the early hours of Saturday was 15.3 degrees Celsius. Whereas, the lowest minimum temperature of 12.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Rajendranagar.
According to IMD-H, the night temperature in many places in the city can range from 11 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius, on Wednesday. Observing the situation, IMD-H issued a one-day yellow warning for the city and a few other districts.
