IMD issues yellow alert for heavy rain in most parts of Telangana

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for heavy rain in most parts of Telangana including Hyderabad city over next two days. IMD said that heavy rains will continue in the city over the next few days due to the prevailing low level South-Easterly cold winds over the state.

rain or thundershowers are expected in parts of the city for next two days. As per the officials, the western parts of Hyderabad recorded the highest rainfall yesterday, with areas like Shaikpet which reported rainfall of over 16 cms and Madhapur reported rainfall of over 12 cms.
