The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad has issued a yellow alert for several districts, while warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and squalls over the next two days. After experiencing continuous rainfall, the Telugu states had seen a brief pause with dry, sunny, and humid weather. The IMD has indicated that rains are set to return, with moderate showers expected on September 21 and 22.

While Hyderabad is expected to have a cloudy sky until September 20, light rains and



possible thunderstorms are likely to continue until Friday. 

Meanwhile, the yellow alert extends to Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. Residents in these areas have been advised to remain cautious, particularly in light of the likelihood of heavy rains, strong winds and lightning strikes.
