The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday predicted dry weather for the city for the next four days along with a rise in mercury levels.
A few days ago temperature levels dipped indicating the onset of winter. However, the minimum temperatures have started to take an upward curve this week.
According IMD, both day time and night temperatures would go up in coming days and with forecast stating that there would be partly cloudy sky towards afternoon
or evening and temperatures in the night time also would raise.
The weather as per IMD on Friday morning showed the minimum and maximum temperatures having settled at 19.7 and 33.9 degrees Celsius respectively and these are likely hover around 20 and 33 degrees Celsius for next two days.
A senior official said that despite low pressure forming over Bay of Bengal, it would not have any impact in the city.
