The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad forecasts that the rainfall will continue for the next few days due to a low pressure area which is very likely to form over north Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during the next 24 hours. “Apart from this, another low pressure area is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal & neighborhood around July 16,” read the weather report released by the IMD, Hyderabad on Thursday.

According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), Balanagar received highest rainfall of 45.5mm during the last 24 hours followed by Pashamylaram at 31.5mm, Bollarum at 27.5mm, Malkajgiri at 27.3mm, Madhapur at 26.0mm, Moulali at 23.5mm, Begumpet at 23.5mm, West Maredpally at 22.5mm BHEL Factory at 21.8mm and Srinagar Colony at 21.0mm respectively.
