According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society many areas in the central and western corridor received light to moderate rainfall, Jubilee Hills received the highest rainfall of 2.53cm followed by Quthbullapur and Chanda Nagar (2.40cm) and Shapur Nagar (2.25cm).
Golconda, Srinagar Colony, BHEL, Asifnagar, Begumpet, Musheerabad, Khairtabad, Bollarum and Narayanaguda were among other areas that received light rainfall.

Meteorological Department figures reveal that the city has received 26% deficit seasonal rainfall (from June 1 to September 23) this year. As against normal rainfall of 573.9cm, the city has received only 423.6cm rainfall so far.

However, there will be light to moderate rain or thundershowers for the next few days owing to a cyclonic circulation over Gulf of Siam and neighbouring areas over the Malay Peninsula and adjoining Andaman sea.
