IMD predicts light rains in next three days in Hyderabad

Monsoon seems to have taken a break from the city, but for an occasional shower in the last few days.

In last three days, city though witnessing pleasant weather conditions with occasional drizzle, however did not receive much of rains.

Usually, July happens to be a month of intense rains. However, there were hardly any moderate or heavy rainfall in the first week of the month.

The weather conditions could



be similar even in the second week with India Meteorological Department forecast saying there would generally be cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in the next three days.

According to Telangana State Development Planning Society, GHMC area was expected to receive light to moderate rain during the afternoons/ evenings at isolated places for the next three days.
