The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that the State might witness widespread rainfall on Tuesday too.
According to IMD Director, Hyderabad, YK Reddy, the State witnessed heavy rainfall under the influence of an upper air circulation, which would persist until Tuesday.
“Currently, there is an upper air circulation over
the west-central Bay of Bengal that is accelerating the formation of rain-bearing clouds over the State. This situation would continue up to Tuesday and then eventually subside,” he said. While the circulation would bring heavy rains over coastal Andhra Pradesh, the State would also witness light to moderate showers in the next 24 hours.
