IMD predicts more rainfall likely in Hyderabad today

The officials of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) were alerted after the weather department predicted rainfall likely in Hyderabad today. Yesterday Hyderabad recorded heavy rainfall in many areas. 

Meanwhile, the GHMC commissioner Lokesh Kumar assured to repair the roads damaged due to the downpour. He also reviewed the works being



carried out by the officials during the rains. "Roads in the city will be flooded with 2 cm of rainfall per hour," said Lokesh adding that they are gearing up to close the potholes on the roads. He also said that he will try to enhance the GHMC income and also demolish the illegal constructions made on Nalas to widen them.
