IMD predicts rains likely for few more days in Hyderabad

The ongoing monsoon continues to drench the city and on the fifth consecutive day, many parts received light rainfall.

According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society, most parts of Medchal-Malkajgiri received moderate rainfall with a maximum of 16.3 mm till 7 pm on Monday while the core city areas recorded light rainfall.

Department forecast shows that there would be cloudy sky with moderate rain this week.The cyclonic circulation getting more marked, there is a possibility of more monsoon rains and thundershowers over Hyderabad.

Monsoon rains are here to stay for the next three days and the intensity would be mainly light with a few moderate spells in between, it added.
