Independence Day celebrations to be low key affair in Telangana

The Independence Day celebrations will be a low-key affair and will be celebrated in adherence to the Centre’s guidelines on Covid-19. Far from the grand celebrations at Golconda Fort, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will unfurl the Tricolour at Pragathi Bhavan around

10.15 am in the presence of only 20 invitees.

All the Ministers, Government Whips and other elected representatives have been already assigned the responsibility of unfurling the national flag in various districts.
