Indian Bank launches awareness drive for Rs 10 coin acceptance in Telangana, AP

To spread awareness among public to improve acceptance towards usage of Rs 10 coins instead of currency notes, the Indian Bank organized a two-day public awareness drive at its 480 branches in Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh between October 21 and October 22.

As a part of these efforts, the Indian Bank held an awareness



program at its Himayatnagar branch in which bank customers, public, traders etc participated.

The FGM of Indian Bank, Hyderabad, G. Rajeswara Reddy, who inaugurated the program, urged its customers and general public to accept Rs.10 coins as a legal tender and also to help to percolate this message across the State.
