Infighting among TRS leaders

Tue 01 Mar 2016, 18:59:48
A couple of days ago, in Nizamabad, TRS MLA and MLC indulged in a scuffle, today the TRS party workers in Maheshwaram constituency indulged publicly in a verbal war. Maheshwaram mandal party president Koona Yadaiah and other senior leaders charged local MLA Theegala Krishna Reddy saying that the latter was least bothered about the party leaders and workers.

They alleged that the MLA did nothing to the constituency in the last two years. Reacting to the allegations, MLA countered that he knew everything about them and challenged them to do what they wish to do. This incident took place at Maheshwaram Mandal Parishat Office here on Tuesday.

Theegala Krishna Reddy conducted a review meeting on drinking water crisis in the mandal along with MPTC members, sarpanches and officials. Speaking on this occasion, Koona Yadaiah alleged that the officials were not informing the TRS leaders about the programs they were taking up. Responding on it, Theegala said that it was not a party meeting to express their grievances on this occasion as it was a review meeting on drinking water problem.

Angered Yadaiah lashed out at the MLA saying that MLA was not

bothered about the problems of the party leaders. Reacting sharply on the criticism of Yadaiah, Theegala said “every body knows about you (Yadaiah). You worked as a Sarpanch and MPTC for 10 years…What you did to the people.. Not to do thamashas in front of me”. Sarpanchs, MPTCs, officials left the Hall when pandemonium took place while Yadaiah retorted harshly at the MLA.

After coming out the meeting hall, TRS leaders Hanmagalla Chandraiah, Wakf board former chairman Sameer and other leaders said with the MLA that the behavior in presence of officials was not good. They said “It is not correct on the part of MLA. You insulted the party leaders in front of the officials. We are continuing in the party by killing our soul though you did nothing to the constituency. We will lodge a complaint with the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and IT Minister KT Ramarao on this issue”.

The MLA furiously reacted on party leaders saying that it was up to them. The MLA also raised his hand to beat the party leaders but the police and other leaders interfered and sent the MLA away from there. In the absence of MLA too, the party leaders Gattupally Sarpanch Rakesh Reddy and Chandraiah indulged in verbal war. The episode created a division in Maheshwaram TRS party.
