International Kite Festival from Jan 13

The Telangana department of tourism has proposed to organise third Telangana International Kite Festival — 2018 between January 13 and 15. The festival will see participation from 12 countries with 40 international and 40 national flyers and a special nightflying

event.

The kite festival is committed for a social cause of raising awareness of the importance of education and empowerment of the girl children. The festival expects a footfall of around one lakh visitors.
