A five-day international conference of obstetrics and gynaecologists will begin in the city from Saturday, the Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad has announced. The conference will see national and international experts discuss every aspect of the two fields under the broad umbrella theme of preventing maternal mortalities, society president Prof. S. Shantha Kumari said.
The conference at Hitex will be inaugurated by Chief Minister A. Reventh Reddy, with health
minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, and women and child welfare minister Dansari Anasuya taking part, she said.
The event aims at emphasizing on the most recent trends, advancements in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. It will focus on the themes of obstetric medicine, emerging technologies in obgyn, environment and reproduction, sexual reproductive rights and health, pelvic medicine among other topics, Prof. Shantha Kumari said
