IPS officers shuffled in Telangana

The State government has transferred seven IPS officers, including Cyberabad Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (Crimes) Janaki Sharmila and Sultan Bazaar Assistant Commissioner of Police Chetna Mylabhutala.

The list of the IPS officers who were transferred is as follows: Rohini Priyadarshini, who was waiting for posting, was posted as Cyberabad DCP (Crimes) replacing Janaki Sharmila. Chetna Mylabhutala was transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Narayanpet district, relieving Rema Rajeswari from additional charge.

Godavarikhani Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rakshitha K. Murthy was transferred and posted as DCP, Mancherial replacing Superintendent of Police M.S. Venugopal. Bhadrachalam ASP Sangram Singh Patil Ganapatrao was transferred and posted as SP Mulug, relieving R. Bhaskaran from additional charge. ASP Greyhounds Rajesh Chandra was



transferred and posted as ASP Bhadrachalam.

ASP Greyhounds Sharat Chandra Pawar was transferred and posted as ASP Eturunagaram. ASP Greyhounds P. Sai Chaitanya was transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Mahadevpur (Kataram) replacing Deputy Superintendent of Police K.R.K. Prasad.

Twenty-six Deputy Superintendents of Police (Civil) were transferred on Thursday and new postings were given to them.

Of them, Ibrahimpatnam Assistant Commissioner of Police S Malla Reddy, who was transferred for his alleged links with K Rakesh Reddy, the prime suspect arrested in NRI entrepreneur Ch. Jayaram’s murder case, was asked to report at the police headquarters in Hyderabad. Malla Reddy also appeared before the Jubilee Hills police in connection with Jayaram’s murder case.
