The city on Sunday received isolated spells of showers, under the influence of the Southwest monsoon. Officials from the India Meteorological Department said that the highest rainfall was recorded at Trimulgherry (2.25cm) followed by Uppal

“The rains were brought by an influx of cumulonimbus clouds over the city,“ said an official from the IMD. They predicted rain in Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Mahbubnagar, Medak and Nalgonda during the next 48 hours.
