TPCC president A Revanth Reddy on Sunday demanded that the State Government immediately issue notification for filling up 1.91 lakh vacancies in various departments, besides extending Rs 3,016 monthly allowance to all the jobless youth in the State.
Revanth Reddy condemned the alleged attack on Youth Congress workers by TRS leaders, when they tried to submit a memorandum to local MLAs on the unemployment issue. He further charged that Youth Congress workers were being illegally arrested and implicated in false cases for raising their voice against rising unemployment.

TPCC president said Congress party would intensify its agitation against the dictatorial regime of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Meanwhile, addressing party leaders at Gandhi Bhavan, the TPCC chief wanted the leaders to focus on the party’s digital membership in the State and directed them to achieve the set targets. “There is overwhelming response to the membership drive and the target of 30 lakh members will be achieved comfortably,” said Revanth Reddy, adding that membership would play a key role in strengthening the organisation at the grass root level.
