J Snehaja is appointed as RPO chief

The Regional Passport Office (RPO) here has got a new chief: Jonnalagadda Snehaja, a 2016 batch Indian Foreign Service officer. Shehaja, who is from Hyderabad and an chartered accountant, took charge on Friday.

Shehaja replaced Dasari Balaiah, the outgoing Regional Passport Officer, Prior to



taking charge in Hyderabad, Snehaja served as second secretary at the embassy of India in Beijing. In New Delhi, she served as under secretary in the Bangladesh and Myanmar divisions and in the vigilance division in the ministry of external affairs, a statement said.
