JP Nadda escapes unhurt in lift mishap in Hyderabad

BJP leaders including Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda and others escaped unhurt while they were in an elevator. The elevator accidentally slipped at the State party headquarters Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan on Friday.

The Union Health Minister was in the city to attend the BJP meeting organised on the occasion, where K Laxman was taking charge as the party’s new president. The Union Minister



visited the State BJP office to greet Laxman. 

While the leaders were in the elevator, it slipped down to the cellar from the ground floor. However, nothing happened to them inside the lift. N V S S Prabhakar, MLC Ramchander Rao, State secretary Chinta Sambhamurthy Ravi Mehra were also present in the lift. N V S S Prabhakar’s gunman removed grills of the lift with the help of a steel rod.
