Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president J P Nadda will visit the city on January 4 to take part in the meeting to be conducted by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from January 5 to 7 at Annojiguda here.
On Sunday, the State BJP leaders organized a preparatory meeting at the party headquarters in Nampally to review the arrangements to be made for the successful conduct of Nadda’s visit to the city.
While the State party president Bandi Sanjay Kumar was taking part in ‘Jagarana Deekha’ in
Karimnagar from Sunday evening, the senior leaders, who are in the city, took part in the meeting to review the arrangements.
The leaders decided to give a rousing welcome to Nadda. During his stay in the city, Nadda will interact with the senior party leaders from Telangana to discuss necessary steps to be taken to strengthen the party on all fronts.
The leaders are expected to discuss with him the strategy to be adopted to counter the TRS and the Congress in the State.
