Minister Jupally Krishna Rao criticised BRS leaders K.T. Rama Rao and T. Harish Rao for questioning Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy's meeting with Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani during the WEF summit in Davos. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said that the Chief Minister had been to Davos to meet global investors and attract investments into Telangana state with an aim to create job opportunities for the unemployed youth. His meeting with Adani has fetched a huge investment of Rs 12,400 crore, rao said.

"It's shameful that KTR and Harish Rao are politicising meetings of the Chief Minister that are bringing in investments into Telangana state. It's the BRS, which has a tactical understanding with BJP, and not us, as alleged by BRS leaders," Rao stated. Reacting to their criticism that the Congress government had failed to

implement its six guarantees, the minister said: "Within two days of coming to power, we started implementation of two guarantees. Millions of women are availing the benefit of free bus travel and the Rs 10 lakh Arogyasri scheme," he said.

As regards the response to Praja Palana programme held from December 28 to January 6, he said, "We have received over 1.25 crore applications which are now being sorted. Beneficiaries will be selected next month through door to door verification." Despite the previous BRS government pushing Telangana into a debt burden of `seven lakh crore with its financial mismanagement and corruption in the last ten years, the Congress government was doing everything to mobilise funds required for the implementation of six guarantees within 100 days as promised, he said.
