Jwala Gutta's name missing from voter list

Ace badminton player Jwala Gutta on Friday claimed that her name was missing from Telangana voters’ list while expressing disappointment over the same.

Gutta asserted that her name was present in the electoral list when she checked it online ahead of the Assembly elections, however, it was missing when she went to exercise her franchise today. “I checked my name online two or three weeks ago, my mother’s and my name were there but my father and



sister’s name were missing. Today when I went to cast vote my name was also missing from the list,” Gutta told ANI.

“I don’t understand why my name is missing. I’ve been living here for 12 years,” she added.

The badminton player said that the voting process should be made easier for the citizens adding, “I think that the least we can expect.”
