Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari ordered a high-level probe by the Education Department officials into the Rao’s High School incident.
In a press release, Srihari said the incident was unfortunate and directed District Educational Officer to visit the school and submit a detailed report for further action.
On Saturday, physical education teacher (PET) of Rao’s High School in BHEL had asked a Class V student to stand near boy’s
washroom for not wearing school uniform.
The incident also drew the attention of IT Minister KT Rama Rao. The Minister requested Srihari to look into the matter seriously.
On Monday, officials visited the school and confirmed the incident and told the Minister that the school management had removed the PET soon after the incident. The Deputy CM said once the report reached him action would be initiated against the school management.
