Kancha Gachibowli, Harish Rao demands white paper on 400 acre land mortgage

Voicing concern over the mortgage of 400 acres of Kancha Gachibowli land by the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), former minister T Harish Rao on Saturday demanded the State government to come out with a white paper on the issue.

He recalled that the



government had informed the state legislative assembly that the land was mortgaged to secure a loan. However, ICICI Bank had now issued a statement denying any involvement, claiming that no such mortgage was made with them. This discrepancy has sparked questions about the true nature of the transaction.
