A spotted deer was reportedly found mauled to death on the University of Hyderabad (UoH) campus here on Wednesday.
This is the third such death of a deer reported on the campus within a span of one week happening after the State government cleared some part of the Kancha Gachibowli land, adjoining the UoH campus, which has a large number of spotted deer and other animals and birds.
“It is shameful that the Congress party claims there are no deer and animals in Kancha Gachibowli, and all information is AI
generated. I would challenge anyone to prove that this is an AI generated and graphic video. How long will innocent animals be killed?” ABVP HCU president K Balakrishna said in a video with the deer carcass.
On April 4, a fawn was killed in an attack by feral dogs, which ripped apart the animal’s hind legs.
Earlier, a deer was attacked by a pack of dogs leaving it badly injured. Though students and university security guards administered first aid and shifted to veterinary hospital, the deer could not survive
