Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) MLAs of Karnataka reached Hyderabad this morning.
The two parties decided to shift over 70 MLAs from Congress and over 35 MLAs of JD-S following fears over poaching of their legislators. The parties chose to camp in Hyderabad with their legislators for next two weeks.
Meanwhile, the
Telangana Police has tightened security around the hotels where the MLAs are staying.
Congress won 78 seats while JD-S got 38 in the recently held Assembly elections in Karnataka. However, BS Yeddyurappa of BJP which emerged as the single largest party took oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka yesterday.
