KCR asked to continue as caretaker CM

Governor ESL Narasimhan has asked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to continue as the care-taker Chief Minister of Telangana State following the dissolution of the Legislative Assembly.

Meanwhile, the Legislature Secretariat issued a notification dissolving the State Assembly, with immediate effect saying that the Council of Ministers of Telangana State continue as caretaker of the Government of



Telangana.

Simultaneously, according to a communiqué issued by the Raj Bhavan soon after the Chief Minister met with the Governor and handed over a copy of the State Cabinet resolution calling for the Assembly’s dissolution, the Governor asked the Chief Minister and his Council of Ministers to continue in their positions are caretaker of the State Government.
