Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha on Friday clarified that Chief Minister and her father K. Chandrashekhar Rao has not insulted Prime Minister Narender Modi.

Speaking to media persons here, Kavitha said that the Chief Minister, during his speech, has made certain strong comments against the Central Government for its discriminatory attitude against the Telangana State.

However, she alleged that

the Telangana BJP leaders have been trying to a make a big issue out of something which could be called a ‘slip of tongue’.

Kavitha said that the BJP-led NDA Government did not fulfil any of the promises that the Centre has made with Telangana in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. She announced that the TRS MPs would continue their protest in the Parliament until justice is done with Telangana.
