Development Authority (GADA) officials said the camp office was constructed as part of the plan to build camp offices at all constituency headquarters to hold meetings and to interact with local residents. Though the roads & buildings department had earmarked Rs.1 crore for each camp office, the department has reportedly spent about Rs.5 crore on this one due to security reasons.
