KCR insturcts tourism department to beautify Shamirpet lake

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has instructed tourism department officials to develop Shamirpet lake and its surroundings adjoining the Hyderabad-Karimnagar Rajiv Rahadari as one of the best tourist

spots.

He said the process has been set in motion to ensure that the lake brims all 365 days. KCR said that, as part of Kaleshwaram project, Shamirpet lake will get water through Konda Pochamma reservoir.
