All eyes are on TRS president and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao's meeting his Maharashtra counterpart and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Sunday. He is also expected to meet Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar in the evening.
This is Rao’s first visit to any state after he had announced on Sunday last that he
would try to bring regional parties together against the BJP before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Rao further intensified his attack on the BJP after the presentation of the Union Budget on February 1 and for the first time he announced his plans of playing a key role in national politics on February 13 by meeting Chief Ministers and chiefs of regional parties.
