Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has announced in the Assembly that the Telangana government is committed to filling 1.12 lakh job vacancies.It was promised during Telangana agitation that one lakh jobs would be provided in the new state. Now, KCR states that 1.12 lakh recruitments are being made.

Previously, KCR said that Telangana is the first state



in the country to provide financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh to SC, ST and BC students for higher studies abroad.

The Chief Minister also appealed to the Opposition parties to refrain from making allegations against TSPSC Chairman Ghanta Chakrapani adding that the UPSC appreciated the latter for bringing reforms in recruitment.
