Chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao would leave for New Delhi on Friday morning to get approval from the Centre for the new zonal system in the state. The chief minister has also decided to stay in New Delhi, if required, for two, three days and also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to brief in detail about the necessity of
zonal system.
The Telangana government has created the new zonal system to enable 95 per cent reservation in all employment opportunities to the locals. The state cabinet, a couple of months ago, gave its nod for the new system with seven zones and two multi-zones.
